About the speakers:

Amy Chung, PhD is the Director of Medical Writing and Transparency at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. She regularly sits on career panels for top colleges and universities and has helped hundreds of students and young professionals navigate their science careers.

Dr. Chung has 17 years of work experience in biotechnology and science communication. She earned her doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UW-Madison, funded by the National Science Foundation Fellowship, and completed her postdoc at UCLA. She has worked as a medical writer for world-renowned companies including Amgen, Bristol Myers-Squibb, and Jazz Pharma. Her accomplishments include earning approval for more than 12 new therapies globally over the last 10 years.

Kwadwo  Owusu-Ofori, PhD is the CEO of Satori Food Project, Inc. He regularly mentors business owners for top startup accelerators and universities. And helps scientists and engineers communicate their work to the general public.

Dr. Ofori has 20 years of work experience in biotechnology and lab management. After a postdoc at UW-Madison, he worked as a Public Health Lab Manager for the City of Milwaukee. Then won an innovation award from the National Science Foundation and became a startup entrepreneur. Dr. Ofori earned his doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UW-Madison. He received an Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Fellowship for his work.
